Mr. Gonzalez has served as a support banker on transactions for cities, counties, school districts, water utilities and community college districts. Since joining the firm in 2008, he has worked as a Co-Lead Banker on numerous financings with a project scope ranging from assisting clients with various tax-exempt securities to facilitating meetings with bond rating agencies, bond insurance companies and underwriters. He has also assisted the Estrada Hinojosa San Antonio office with technical and research support. Before joining the firm, Mr. Gonzalez worked for a civil engineering firm, where he identified Texas cities in need of water and sewer infrastructure projects. During that time, he gained experience interfacing with public works directors and elected officials throughout the State of Texas.
He is also fluent in Spanish.
